Who should attend Communicate Stronger?

Communicate Stronger is an event for communications professionals and others who want to expand their knowledge and their network. If you’re looking for fresh strategies to up your content game and connect with your audience, join us.

Communicate Stronger 2022 is organized by the Great Plains chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators. Although our membership is largely made up of communications professionals, communication skills are critical in all professions. IABC members and non-members are welcome.

What should I wear?

The conference dress code is business casual. If you signed up for a free headshot, you may want to up your game. 

What are your COVID-19 protocols?

We will follow any local, state or federal mandates in place at the time of the conference.

What should I bring?

  • We’ll have notepads and pens available.

  • Business cards. You’re going to meet people you want to connect with later.

  • A copy of your Meghan Casey book so she can sign it.

  • An appetite for new information – and lunch!


What kind of payment do you accept?

Early bird and general registration payments must be paid by credit card via Eventbrite. Credit cards and checks will be accepted for at-the-door registration on the day of the event. We do not accept cash.

Can I cancel my registration if I can’t attend?

You can cancel or transfer your registration. Contact us at to cancel or transfer your ticket.

  • By Feb. 28 (5 p.m. CST), you’ll receive a 75% refund of total fees.

  • By March 18 (5 p.m. CST), you’ll receive a 50% refund of total fees.

  • By April 15 (5 p.m. CST), you’ll receive a 25% refund of total fees.


No refunds will be issued for cancellations submitted after 5 p.m. CST April 15.


If you are unable to attend due to a health or family emergency and cannot transfer your ticket to someone else, a refund may be issued at our discretion.

Can I transfer my registration to someone else if I can’t attend?

Yes. The deadline to transfer your ticket is 5 p.m. CST April 29. Contact us at to transfer your registration.

If the conference is cancelled, do I get a refund?

If for any reason beyond our control we determine that the conference must be cancelled, shortened, delayed, dates changed or otherwise altered, Great Plains IABC shall apply the registration fees paid by participants to the same event occurring in the following calendar year.
